When Jorge and Jessica first contacted me, they told me they wanted a backdrop that would represent their love for traveling. After a few emails back and forth, we decided that Centro Historico would offer us a variety of colors and textures that would speak to their wanderlust. We had a great time roaming around the chaotic Centro Historico and managed to dodge all the crowds to get the photos.
Last year, I photographed Briana and Alan’s engagement in Mexico City. When they later asked me to document their wedding day at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View, California, I immediately said yes! Briana and Alan’s wedding was inspired by their Mexican roots and it was fun to see everyone munching on tacos, churros, and tequila. Props to my second shooter, Elijah, for helping me photograph this special day.
